When you submit a quote request through our contact form, we collect:
- Full name
- Postcode
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Description of your boiler issue
- City/area (automatically populated from the page you visited)
We do not collect payment card details or sensitive personal data.
3. Why we collect it (legal basis)
We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests and, where required, consent. Specifically:
- To provide the service you requested — processing your enquiry and passing it to a local Gas Safe engineer who can provide a quote.
- To communicate with you — engineers or our team may contact you by email or phone regarding your request.
- To improve our website — analytics data (see §5) helps us understand how the site is used.
4. How your data is shared
We share your enquiry data with:
- Local Gas Safe engineers — your name, postcode, phone number, and issue description are passed to a partner engineer in your area so they can contact you with a quote. Engineers are independent businesses; please review their own privacy policies before engaging them.
- Formspree Inc. — our form processing provider. Data is transmitted securely to Formspree servers before being forwarded to us. Formspree is GDPR-compliant. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website (page views, session duration, geographic region). GA4 operates under Consent Mode v2: no analytics cookies are set until you explicitly accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit.
